om shanti om full movie download 300mb Om Shanti Om is quite an entertaining movie to watch and catch the flavor of the Indian Hindi cinema. This film deals with many love stories and focuses on various aspects and brings out a lot of facets which is what makes this film so interesting to watch. The whole cast ensemble is just outstanding and here we have two great stars in Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone playing the main lead roles with Abhishek Bachchan as well as Madhuri Dixit (Dil To Pagal Hai). The director Farah Khan has done a fabulous job handling this very important project. Om Shanti Om is a film that obviously captures the essence of the old Hindi cinema in terms of lighting, styling and music. The film tells 3 different love stories in the form of flashbacks with Shahrukh Khan in all three stories. The story is told by Shahrukh to Deepika Padukone when she is waiting for her love Abhishek Bachchan to return from his tour. The first tale, which is also the opening sequence, takes us back to 1970s when Reema Lagoo plays the role of Shahrukh's mother much younger than her own age. Along with Shahrukh, Reema Lagoo is the only actress who has been shown in a make-up in a very different look which is a bold move for her. The scenes where Shahrukh's mother was clearly shown in a make-up make us believe that she can look younger than her own age. The scenes of 1970s were shot at India Gate and the monuments of Delhi. Unfortunately, this part of the movie is not that convincing and doesn't add much to the story line since it comes too early into the film and doesn't really have much impact on the rest of the movie. The second tale takes us back to the time when Shahrukh and Kajol were getting married and Kishore Kumar is the only one who knows the secret. Kajol was looking stunning as ever and she has played her part remarkably well as a bride to be as well as later on as a loyal wife. Rajpal Yadav is also present in this part of the film which adds some fun at times. But unfortunately, this part of the movie is so short that we don't really get to know what goes on behind closed doors before and after their marriage and we don't really understand why they had to get married too soon without knowing each other at all. Later on, Shahrukh has confessed to having some feelings for the heroine in the second tale which kind of makes it easy for us to understand why his act of marrying Kajol came about. The third tale takes us back to 1983 when Shahrukh meets the love of his life Dimple Kapadia. The sequence is shot at Filmistan Studios which looks absolutely stunning with some brilliant choreography. I really wish that there were more scenes in this sequence because it is so beautifully shot.
